What would be a nice thing to do when a friend has depression?

Question by Lesley: What would be a great issue to do when a pal has depression?
As I am constantly the life of the party and operating two jobs, have a fantastic husband and two fantastic youngsters? Why did depression hit me? Effectively it hits an awful volume of folks but when I had a breakdown....No cards, no letters, no telephone calls....this is depression not cancer....it's not an illness apparently. I function in a public school and they sent BACK my twenty dollars in an envelope
