I think I may have stress fracture in my lower tibia...?

Question by Lets.Mango: I feel I may have tension fracture in my lower tibia...?


What are some of the distinction in signs and symptoms of shin splints and a tension fracture? I can't feel of a particular event that may possibly have caused this but I had discomfort in my tibia for about a week and it's gradually getting worse. It is dull and achy at rest but I get a shooting discomfort depending on how I walk on it.
