Question by 6js59: What is the difference between Effexor and Wellbutrin?
I am switching to Wellbutrin after Effexor has been ineffective; my pharmicist said that they work on different receptors (serotonin and norepinephrin vs dopamine). How else are they different? If the Effexor didn't work, but the Wellbutrin does, does that mean that my depression is being caused by a deficiency in dopamine?
