This is such a great idea! My chihuahua is afraid of thunderstorms and she can’t find a good hiding spot. I think she would feel very secure in a little cubby like this! And I have the perfect “ugly” item in my basement that I haven’t been able to figure out what to do with. I’m getting some paint and tackling this project this weekend! (It is supposed to storm again on Sunday–what perfect timing to find this article! Thanks!)
