Susan Swimmer of MORE magazine fielded questions about dealing with your in-laws Thursday on 'Today' (weekdays, 7AM on NBC) with Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb. Needless to say, Gifford has her own advice for the questions, and it wasn't quite as professional-sounding as Swimmer's.One viewer asked about her mother-in-law's insistence that she have the house professionally cleaned and the cat professionally groomed before she visited. The viewer asked if she were crazy for being offended by that. "Marry an older man," advised Gifford. "His parents are dead."

Belated christmas post and Happy Barkday to me!
Today is my special day. I am now officially 4 years old!
My M celebrated my barkday on christmas eve as she thought all the dogs will be around. Unfortunately Jack and Joey didn't come because their HC has a second pawty to go and so she can't bring them to Scuba's house. On the bright side, that means Tommy, Scuba and me get to eat more!
Here's me with the cake my M made. It's more meatloaf than cake, because it's all packed with awsome beef! It's decorated with fondant and some sesame street characters taken off from my baby sister's old barkday cake. We didn't get to eat the fondant coz it's sweet so it's only for decoration.

Singing my barkday song. I must add that I didn't get to blow my own candle because my baby sister and Tommy's baby brother beat me to it.
Finally, getting ready to cut the cake! I'm licking my lips in anticipation!
Then we took the annual group photo with the babies.
Poor Pepper very unwisely decided to walk past at this time and he was grabbed (literally!) to take pictures too.
Just to show you how unhappy he looked, here's a close up from other photos.
He must be the unhappiest living thing in the house on christmas eve. Maybe that has something to do with him being half strangled by my baby sister.
I think that my M is gonna get me something nice for dinner tonight since it's my barkday. I'm soooo looking forward to dinner!
